DSOProcesser is software for shotting, stacking and viewing deep sky astrophotography images(nebulae, galaxies, etc.).

DSOProcesser (DSOP) consists of the following three software.

• DSOP Shooter

This is software for shotting astronomical images of nebulas, galaxies, etc.
Integrated control of mounts, devices such as cameras, and external software such as auto guiders (*2) using ASCOM Platform etc. You can automatically shot images according to the shooting plan you created.
In addition, you can easily create a shot plan by registering and displaying a list of the celestial targets you want to shot, and then selecting targets you want to shot. You can easily find the targets you want to shot in advance and then shot it little by little, shot the same targets again, or make a shot plan before the shooting date.

*1: ASI cameras can be controlled directly without going through the ASCOM Platform.
*2: Auto guider (PHD2), plate solver (ASTAP or All Sky Plate Solver), and planetarium software (Stellarium or Cartes du Ciel) must be installed separately as necessary.


• DSOP Stacker

This software performs the necessary processing on captured astrophotography images to create high-quality images.
The taken astronomical images (FITS file) is bias corrected, dark corrected, and flat corrected, and then aligned based on the position of the stars. By compositing (stacking) images, you can create high-quality images with less noise and with the details of celestial objects emerging.
(It is also possible to erase the light trails of artificial satellites etc. with Sigma Clip) It can automatically identify the shot target, camera, exposure time, filter, etc. and list the processing targets. This saves you the trouble of manually selecting and compositing images.
You can also process images taken with software other than DSOP Shooter (N.I.N.A, SharpCap, etc.).

* For images taken with software other than DSOP Shooter, depending on the presence or absence of information saved in the FITS file (FITS header) It may take more time to manually select images
* The images that have been composited (stacked) with DSOP Stacker must be further edited and adjusted using other software (PixInsight, PhotoShop, etc.) to complete the astrophotography.

• DSOP FitsViewer

This is software for displaying captured astronomical images (FITS files).
You can display a list of FITS files in a folder, enlarge or reduce images, adjust brightness automatically/manually, and check header information of FITS files.
This can be used for purposes such as checking the shooting results while shooting or checking the combined image file.

DSOProcesser can be used for free (Free Edition) with many functions necessary for taking astrophotography and post-taking processing.
By purchasing a paid license, you can also use functions that make shooting and processing of captured images more convenient (Pro Edition).

System Reuirement

Windows 10 or later

* DSOP Shooter and FitsViewer works in lower spec PC(2 to 4 core,memory 8GB)
* DSOP Stacker needs higher spec PC(4 core or more , memory 16GB or more) for processing many images.
  (Lower spec PC can be used bat very slowly)
  For using some functions, CPU with Intel AVX is required.
